Medium/Lighter bodied organic Primitivo from Puglia (the "heel" of Italy). Calx means limestone soils in latin, and the wine shows the minerality of its namesake. Great with a light chill, this wine is easy drinking and delightful on the palate--think cloves, a little cardamom, and anise. Enjoy Calx with a pepper and mushroom pizza, or a big old lasagna, but really it's great with anything!
