Laudemio Extra Virgin Olive Oils are among the very finest of Tuscan oils, and Marchesi di Frescobaldi is one of the most delicious. This 2012 harvest is a clear, intense green with grassy aroma and lush, full flavors. In the style of Tuscan oils, Frescobaldi is smooth and yet piquant, the perfect oil to drizzle over fish or grilled meat, or to enchance a platter of vegetables or even to dribble on good Parmigiano-Reggiano. The Laudemio group of about 30 olive growers use the name as a reference to the best portion due to the feudal lord in the Middle Ages, and the excellence of this extra virgin olive oil justifies the cost.
