A premier olive oil of the Abruzzo region made in the Teramo area. The fact that the sub-region of Teramo runs from the higher altitude (cooler winds) of the base of the Gran Sasso mountain range all the way to the Adriatic (warmer winds) provides a great terrier for both olive oil & wine. This range of mountains descending into seas provides a large band of temperature variances from day to night and season to season which results in olive oils & wines with a rich character deriving from soil rich in clay, limestone & mineral rich sand.
