Santa Vittoria Rosa Vittoria - 750 Milliliters
Tasting Notes: The Santa Vittoria Rosa is a rose, or rosato in Italian, wine made from Nebbiolo grapes. Aromatic notes of rose, violet, hawthorn, peach flower and jasmine along with fruity aromas such as cherry, strawberry, and pomegranate in the glass. The mouth feel is fresh with great balance that makes it perfect as an aperitif and for a meal alike. Highly persistent both in the mouth and in the nose, outstandingly supple with great structure.
Estate History: Castello di Santa Vittoria lies in the steep, sandy hills of the Roero on the left bank of the Tanaro river, just opposite of the Langhe hills in the heart of Piemonte. The wines are produced at new, state-of-the-art cellars located in Località Guriot. Viticulturalist Angelo Rosso and enologist Nicola Fogliati are aided by the celebrated Piemontese winemaker Beppe Caviola, who was named Gambero Rosso’s 2002 enologist of the year, in crafting the delicious 2015 Santa Vittoria Barbaresco, a wine loaded with Piemontese charm and grace.
