Neighborhood Market Brings Tastes of Israel to NYC
This Kosher, Israeli market brings your favorite Middle Eastern goods into the heart of the East Village. You'll feel as though you've been transported to a corner store in Tel Aviv, with the Osem and Elite brand products, Bamba (a peanut butter-flavored snack), Pesek Zman candy bars and other popular Israeli sweets. They also have some fresh products including house-made burekas, pickles, amba (a type of mango chutney) and a whole fridge section full of dairy (cheese, yogurt, milk), hummus and baba ghanoush. In addition to these yummy snacks, they also carry popular spices for making your favorite Middle Eastern foods at home, as well as a selection of Israeli cleaning products and incense. On Fridays, they even have fresh challah bread and the self-proclaimed "best pita bread in New York."
