LPLaurence P. Brooklyn, NY7 months agoBetween Nov. 22 and Feb. 23, I spent $912.95 with this seller. In my last order, one item (the tofu puffs) arrived covered with mould. The item was worth $4.50. I lodged a complaint with Mercato and was refunded immediately. A few days later, the lady who owns Siam Market called me on my cell, yelling, accusing me of being a liar just to get the puffs for free. She said that I shouldn’t have gone through Mercato, that I should have called her directly, that she was paying for the gas for the deliveries. She also said that she wouldn’t include the tofu in my next orders, because she didn’t want to have problems. I sent her a picture of the mouldy item and never heard back from her. She was rude, aggressive and obnoxious. I will be taking my business elsewhere.
