The gin and juniper part probably do not require too much of an explanation. The apple part, though, might seem odd. Makes a lot of sense to Nordic Preserves - the natural fruit sugar of the dried apple dons the sweet notions in this concoction, while at the same time lending an unexpected texture to the dish. Serve with finely chopped red onions, boiled new potatoes and a sharp cheddar, and you have a small feast at the ready.
