Philly knows food. So many years ago, when Philly diners on 4th Street wanted a really good cookie to complete their meal at their favorite deli, the Famous 4th Street Cookie was born. It started with Chocolate Chip, and this was no ordinary cookie. It was big, fresh, chewy, and bursting with genuine Hershey’s chocolate. People said it was the best cookie they ever had (with apologies to grandma). Soon people wanted to get boxes of cookies to take home and share with friends. So the Famous 4th Street Cookie Company was created, and in 1982 the popular Reading Terminal Market location was opened. When our cookies were baked, people lined up and couldn’t get enough – and it’s still the same today.

ISIam S. Lansdowne, PA7 months agoThe packaging was perfect, the timing couldn’t have been better, and the quality is superb as always. The delivery driver exceeded all expectations. Far too many delivery drivers do not read the instructions on the order nor the giant sign on my door resulting in the order going to the wrong house or just not showing up at all for unknown reasons. I don’t know who this driver was today with my order, but I wish I could tip him even more. perhaps you will make that a feature of your website; the ability to take away your tip if the service is unsatisfactory or to add an additional extra tip if the service is exemplary. Also, please implement the option to tip rather than being forced to tip prior to the service.
