Harvey’s butchers, George & Marty, choose family farms that raise pastured, naturally fed animals for their supply. The end result is a fresh, better tasting cut of meat and one that can be traced back to the healthy animal it came from. Their personal visits to and selection of these top local farms stem from their mission to create a healthier butcher shop. Through a highly selective process, Harvey’s cuts come from nine farms, eight of which are 150 miles or less from Washington, DC. For George & Marty, it’s simple. Naturally raised food is better for their customers. And that’s what they serve.

The steak was okay but definitely not what I expected for the price. I also did not like the fact that my card was automatically preauthorized for a number $12 more than my order without any chance for me to approve or disapprove this option (my final order was $2 more than the price in checkout to account for weight disparity, which I understand, but a preauth for $12 more than the initial total is excessive). What if I didn’t have that much in my account? Sadly, I won’t use the service again.
