Wild Yellowfin Tuna
Fancy #1 Quality Great for The Grill or Saute, Product of Indonesia. Ahi tuna, also known as yellowfin tuna, has a deliciously meaty taste. This hearty fish is an excellent source of protein, is low on fat, and it's extremely simple to prepare. Ahi tuna steaks are mostly grilled or seared to bring out the best in their flavor, but you can also bake them to reach a different texture.
Chef Adam Cooking Tip:
We like to use this product in our signature seared tuna loin, so here is how we do it.
Cut the tuna into any shape you like. Logs, squares, or circles. Coat with Hoisin sauce. Roll in Sesame Seeds
Some folks like to fry, I prefer to roast at 450 for 4 to 10 minutes depending on how thick. If large chuck - 8 minutes.
If little log 3 to 4 minutes max -
Slice before serving and serve with our Ginger Sauce - Yum
