Veniero's Pastry Shop and Cafe is located at 342 E 11th Street, New York. Celebrating its 125th Anniversary, this famous landmark was established in 1894 by its founder, Antonio Veniero.
When he opened his establishment it was a pool emporium and cafe where he also served baked products to his customers. Later on, his original Italian pastries and cakes won awards in Rome, Bologna, and the New York World's Fair.
Today, Veniero's Pastry continues this proud tradition, supplying New Yorkers with the freshest handmade cakes and pastries.

Although the bakery had taped the base of the cake to the box, it still slid into one corner of the box likely due to how the bag/box was handled en route. This was a birthday cake that was not visually appealing due to delivery issues, cake itself tasted great.
