The Mulino Marino mill is located in the small village of Cossano Belbo in Piemonte. The ancient mill has been run by the Marino family since the 1950s, and they have passed down their expertise in naturally stone-grinding flour for seven generations. All Mulino Marino products are organic and their heirloom varieties of corn and wheat preserve the nutritional value and flavors of the grain itself. The mill’s history dates back to the year 1001. Mulino Marino uses only organic grain and mills only Italian grown grains. The mill uses 2 milling technologies: Stone Milling on natural, hand-hammered French stones and Roller Milling on modern roller mills, refining the flour less than traditional roller mills.
